In general, there is no minimum stay.
But some restrictions can apply at certain period.
For instance, during festive season from december 20th to January 5th there is a minimum stay of 4 nights.
In any case we highly recommend to spend at least 3 nights to ensure a fully immersive experience and to make the most of our on-site activities and the great natural gems to visit around us like Rio Celeste waterfall or tubing experience.
As Monteverde, Arenal and Cano Negro are nearby we recommend our Guests our luxury base camp to explore the natural gems of the North of Costa Rica

Origins Astral is more targeted at Friends and Families with 7 Villas from 2 to 4 bedrooms with spacious inviting common living area and kitchen, perfect for friends.

Our goal is to limit as much as possible our carbon foot print, so we use airconditioning only when necessary.
As we are between 500 and 700 meters high up in the rainforest volcanic mountains, we have the chance to have cooler air than in the valley.

If you have activities off-site at lunch time, we provide guests with savory picnic  box lunch as part of the full meal plan to adapt at best to guest schedules.

Yes, in-villa dining can be arranged upon request for a more private culinary experience.

Yes, there is a bridge linking the two properties, that ensure that guest can access both.
You just need to let the team know and book a certain activity and if it is not located on your side of the estate, our Team will give you all the instructions to reach the activty location.

We can also privatize Origins Astral 7 Villas, that altogether offer 18 rooms (up to 40 adults/20 children) with separate private entrances for intimate wedding and anniversaries. For bigger groups we can add the 7 lodges of Origins Floral, with 9 more rooms (up to 18 adults/8 children) for a grand total of 58 adults/28 children for unforgettable multi-generational memories.

Families travelling with babies or toddlers can request a wide range of complimentary amenities including:

We are located approximately 1 hour and 30 minutes from Liberia International Airport (LIR) and about 4 hours from San José (SJO).

A 4×4 is highly recommended during the rainy season (May to November) for a smoother journey on mountain roads. The roads to reach us can be a a bit bumpy as we are off the beaten path, but it is worth the adventure.
